This is real time video of our stage show and the fireworks from The Diamond, the home of the Lake Elsinore Storm minor-league baseball team.
The fireworks were late this year and after waiting nearly an hour we put some musicians on the stage to play. Of course in the middle of their set the fireworks went off and no one on stage noticed. They played through the spectacular pyrotechnics unknowingly timing their JAMS to the show.
Sometimes magic happens and when the pyro team pulls off a most spectacular reflection of an American flag that spans the lake it is impressive. It lands in my yard and our party and the 500 or so people within direct earshot enjoyed nearly every note and sparkle.
Featuring the fabulous Tony Nash on guitar, Mike Mountian on the thunderbass, Mark Landers crankin' it out on the drums, and Tootsweet James "didn't even know who he was" on the sax and improv vocals.
Red House may not be the most appropriate song choice but in this case we like it just fine. Enjoy.
Very cool
