A song I wrote about how teenage girls sometimes give themselves away, and how they can lose self-confidence.
Just as a side note, I think that this is actually too fast of a pace for the song- I might repost it later with a bit of a slower tempo. If anyone has any thoughts regarding the song/comments/critiques, feel free to put them below..:)
Also, I know the video/sound quality isn't exactly fantastic, so here's the lyrics:
She's easily swayed by what she feels is true,
and she's not sure why she just can't say no.
Her will is good- what does she have to lose?
After all, innocence sells cheap.
She says:
"Here's my heart, please take it. Here's my heart, don't break it- it's fragile, just like me."
She plays a tramp- she'll go all the way.
But she's not sure why the tears stream down her face.
She'll laugh it off- what does she have to lose?
After all, she sold herself for free.
She says:
"Here's my heart, please take it. Here's my heart, don't break it- it's fragile, just like me."
She's insecure about how she feels,
and she doesn't know what's fake from what's real.
But her will is good; she's got a lot to give.
After all, love is priceless.
I tell her:
"Here's my hand, please take it. Here's my hand, you'll make it- I'm fragile, just like you."
