MechPak 4 MASC - Dasher dashing

A 20-ton Dasher OmniMech sprints down Ghost Highway using MASC (Myomer Acceleration Signal Circuitry), a new feature in MekTek's MechPak 4 for MechWarrior 4 Mercenaries.

MASC provides a 33% boost in speed for short durations, at the risk of damaged leg actuators if used for too long. Heat also builds up quickly as a side effect of the Mech's myomer muscles being pushed to the limits.

This is from the MekPak 4 alpha implementation, it hasn't yet been added to the MW4 Mercs / MP3.1 free release. Updates are being periodically delivered however so this and other MP4 electronics and components will be included over time.

Yep around 163 kph for normal max speed, boosting up to around 218kph with MASC engaged. Happens to pretty much match the original game stats for the Dasher's speed in BattleTech.

The reason the Firemoth (Dasher) has funny arms is because it was origonally intended to get infantry to the middle of a battle quickly and safely but the idea was scrapped because of the bumpy ride however the design was never changed so it was stuck that way pernemently.

Shame too because it would be the perfect recon and spy mech if i didn't have the arms giving it such an anoyingly tall profile :(

How do I do this? Do i need mekpack? Because I already have it but cant find this. Please help.
