They're really fun and capable... it's amazing to be able to traverse 13 miles of bayou- good luck in anything but the argo

@viper1966 I took one of these to pull a shanty out on the ice this winter. My shanty broke through the first layer of ice and was in a 3' deep hole. Turned it around winched it out and then kept going. It goes pretty good through snow without tracks as well. We were busting big drifts with it. Pretty versatile vehicle for rugged conditions. I would buy one if I could afford it.

Well to be fair, you CAN stick an outboard on the back
But it is still a redneck swamp buggy and that is all it'll ever be.

@viper1966 seems more for crossing rivers and navigating through swampey area. theres no way that those treads could paddle you anywhere very fast

I don't know who would buy an argo.. But I do know is that Argo is the WORLD'S LEADER in amphibious vehicles.
So I guess many people do buy them.

they are useless, can't go fast for rescue in rough water. drive like shit in the bush and don't even get me started about the driveline.
Buy a decent quad and a blow up boat if you need it.
