The UAC (User Access Control) is hella annoying on Vista, and disabling it just defeats the purpose of having it there in the first place.

  • Or strip either a Mac or PC and feed it Linux (FREE!), and do all the above and more PLUS MOAR on an interface that you can create yourself.

Think about it. Vista.. High-dollar stuff. Mac... High dollar stuff. Both need consistent upgrades.

Linux is completely free with consistent upgrades that you don't have to fiddle with to get working, and just work immediately FOR you.

Mac VS PC... Get a Linux. You'd be MUCH happier.

  • Or go for personal preference! *gets shot*

Mac or Windows, both have upsides and downsides.

  • @ToBeOrNotToBeThatGuy what the fuck is a linux????

  • This advertisement represents propaganda. You can set up the Vista UAC to behave silently, like I believe Mac's does.

So this is nothing new. Shut up Mac. Shut up. And lower the cost.

  • I feel very comfortable with Windows. Even at work (XP); with very he a very high loaded application and also at home (VISTA), for all fun stuffs. VISTA is fun, when u don't care for performance and have a very best configurations.
