Actually if u dont know the lore here Lord Anduin Lothar (tha man with the shield) is slaughtered by Orgrim Doomhammer the leader or the Blackrock Clan but the Horde has lost that battle.

That is not Thrall the is Orgim Doomhammer the past warcheif he requested thrall wear his amour after he died thus why they look so much alike.

@Darksanity96 Wrong. Garona killed King Llane Wrynn, Varian's father. She was being mind controlled by the Shadow counci. It's one of the main reasons Varian hates Orcs, I'd be pissed too if they burned my city to the ground, murdered my dad, ambushed my father figure & through the corpses of my people(Azeroth/Stormwind humans) into the canals to the point whre said canals overflew with bodies.

@Trilless Garona ambushed and killed Anduin Lothar under a spell coming from the Burning Legion. Garona in real was friend with Anduin.

After Anduin Lothar was killed by Doomhammer in single combat(or ambushed), General Turalyon, enraged at his friends death, attacked with renewed determination and shattered the defences of Blackrock Spire.
The prisoners taken after the battle were forced to build a large statue commerating The Lion of Azeroth, which can be found Southeast of the path to Blackrock Spire in Burning Steppes.
