I call this design waldo doubling. The red and blue waldoes do exactly the same commands, each one finishing one molecule on its own. Important features are:
- The waldos are staggered to avoid collisions.
- The red waldo must be the one to complete the last molecule.
- The blue waldo flushes red's finished product at the same time that red drops the molecule in the output area.
The last two features, taken together, save one precious cycle.
