'98 Volvo V70 T5 (0-60mph)

So everyone seems to think all Volvo's are slow and designed primarily for old people, well lets just say they're wrong m'kay.

Myself and a friend borrowed a V70 T5 and decided to do a 0-60 time for it and bearing in mind the less than awesome start, slow gear changes (we hadn't had a lot of time to get used to it) and backing off the power at about 50 MPH it still managed a respectable 7 seconds to 60 MPH.

As a side note, from standard this car has been fitted with a set of Pirelli P-Zero tyres and a K&N Apollo induction kit.

thanks for the comment. It was bog standard apart from a K&N Apollo induction kit and a set of Pirelli P Zero Rosso's...sadly the car in this video has since been written off (long story involving a speeding off-duty cop trying to get somewhere quickly in a Freelander - he came of worse). But its been replaced by an '04 V70 T5 woulda have gotten a re-mapped '04 V70R but money wouldn't allow.

great video dude, i totally agree. i also got a 98 v70 t5. its got alotta upgrades from ipd and such. im running about a 5.8 0-60 settup right now, about 305 hp. you done anyhting to yours?
