This is a woman of tremendous skill who is already playing at 98% quality. She is in a class with a man considered 99.5% or better and she is learning by comparing her style to his, working with the music. When she does something wrong (ie missed note in pt2) and he asks if it is intentional.

It takes a LOT of work to improve a tiny bit at that level.

It's easily as much about knowing what to look at. For that, even I can learn from it.

I agree with Julian Bream - considering the situation she was in it was a very fine performance. Great to watch.

I think she did a fantastic job and listening and application. Women get it because they are in touch with all things beautiful. The insults are necessary, people. This was beautifully done no question. I never heard of Cheryl until today. I would like to find out more about her and other female players like her. Bravo!!

Although I could never claim to be"masterclass student material" this(and the Segovia vids)leads me to conclude that such classes probably contribute very little to actually improving performance.I suspect that straightforward Q&A sessions would be more beneficial in that respect.
