    Jeff Bagwell... will always be my favorite baseball player... he was the reason why I picked up a glove and a bat when I was a kid.... biggest regret was when I stopped playing baseball...

    His statistics rival Frank Thomas' career. I think in the scheme of things, both Bagwell and Thomas should be 1st Ballot HOFs, but who knows if they will because the voters have this "agenda" to keep up with. That agenda includes "punishing" the people from the steroid era, even if there is no evidence that the player in question took steroids.
