well, USTCer always think so, but actually nobody outside their campus agree with them.
And, Tsinghua is a university mainly focusing on Engineering and Science ...that's quite different with Harvard.

There is a university in the United Kingdom called the University of Dundee. It's in Scotland. I would very strongly urge Chinese students who're thinking of coming to the UK to undertake undergrad or postgraduate studies to NOT enrol at the University of Dundee. Many Chinese students at this university have been racially abused (either verbally, and in some cases physically.) Some lecturers at this university are very racist towards Chinese students and the city of Dundee is also VERY racist.

Hi, there's a mistake.
you said that "Our delegation of 30 graduate students arrived at Tsinghua University, also called Peking University, on May 21, 2009. It was easy to see why people call it the "Harvard of China."
" actually Peking University is another university. Peking is more like the Harvard of China, while Tsinghua the MIT of China.
Thanks for your input. We visited the public policy school, which is a newer part of the university.

Hi, Thanks for the clarification. I was told USTC (which we also visited) was the "MIT of China.,," and Tsinghua was the "Harvard."
But I see you are right. Thanks again.
