@sbloveaholic If you really do want a parrot, you can put your name down with a bird sanctuary that does bird rescues. Contact the SPCA to find a rescue organisation in your area. You can also keep checking the SPCA website, as they do sometimes have birds available. Parrots are wonderful, loyal, underrated pets. You do need to spend a lot of time with them, though. (We live with three parrots in our house).

it's so fun to see you play with your parot the same way I play with my cats!
I've been wanting a parrot for a very long time but I always have second thought because I'm afraid it may not be for me. but I've seen them act like my cats in many videos and seeing a behavior I can relate to/recognize kinda reassure me. but yes, I do know that a parrot would be a lot more job than a cat, I've made a lot of research and will continue to until I can buy one ^_^

@sbloveaholic Find a bird shelter in your area and join. Whenever they get new birds you have to adopt them. But there might be a waiting list

@IvyDDD44 Zoey taught herself that one. It was something she picked up as she was trying to bite me and I would say "No!" Now she just says the "No!" herself. :) She is a pretty special part of my life.

Macaws are so beautiful but their beaks terrify me.

@SimplyRisque If you play with them as often as I play with Zoey then they don't use their beaks in anger for any reason. Zoey will scream "No!" instead of biting when she wants to get her point across. :)
