If a parent deceides to raise their child as an atheist, with no regard for the things of God, or as a satanist, that parent is bringing judgment down on the child. God destroyed wicked nations who were a threat to the seed of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the World. Israel was severly punished when they went wayward too. If the Saviour had not been born we would have no hope of salvation.

@JstNEarthling Death was passed onto us through Adam because Adam chose to rebel against God out of his own free will. Sin has consequences. If you understood the depths of the problem of the sin nature, you would understand why God doesn't always heal. In my weakness, I am more dependant on God. He works through weakness. A strong man doesn't need to rely on God. How many filthy rich people do you know that have God in their lives? Virtually none, if that.
