Concord by Matt Ehlers

This is our percussion ensemble for the 2010 Lonestar Percussion Competition. It was written by our percussion director Matt Ehlers. He was inspired to write this piece when he played in Panorama in Trinidad two years ago. Concord was originally a Panorama chart written only for steel drums, but Mr. Ehlers decided to adapt it for full drumline.

After many, many long hours of practice spanning about 3 months, this is the final product. This is the Mac Drumline 2010 performing Concord.
