I'm a die hard robotech fan, and I don't give a damn if they do change up the techs a bit. Why? Because Robotech was, first and foremost, a HUMAN drama set in the future with aliens. Don't mess that up, and I'll give a bit of leeway with the techs.

Well from what I can see of the part 4 of this series, if this is real sketches of ideas to be used, they already messed it up by introducing a variable form destroid tank in to this, as the macross era the movie is supposed to be based on only had those with veritechs, not destroids.
