This small wooden whistle from Nepal is handcrafted of indigenous hardwood, with a rich, dark finish. It offers metal bandings, a recorder type fipple mouthpiece, and seven fingerholes plus thumb hole. Relative pitched, although it plays up and down the scale and through the two octave range well in tune with itself.

  • what I forgot to say; I think this is a flute that allows Lots of effects, which I presume would suit a particular type of music (Nepalese maybe, Hahaha!!!). This flute is not very much stabilized like western recorders are, the instrument doesn't correct different air-flows. So... It's not You, and Certainly not the flute, but Your playing and this flute just don't seem to suit each other..... Does that make sense?? I hope so.

  • it's not the whistle that sounds bad, it's a beautiful flute but just not played very well, Sorry to say that but that's what I think... try to practice Your breath control by breathing steadily and it will sound a LOT better I'm sure. Good luck with that Lovely instrument!!!

  • Okay I gotta be honest...that sounds awful :(

  • That is an amazing looking whistle, but it doesnt have good sound, great vids though keep em up.
