@vc180191 I won't lie i thought Trunks was epic but since i was like 12 when I was first watching it, Teen Gohan was my favorite character. Besides if they made Gohan as bad ass as his future counterpart it would've have been kool, but the Buu saga made a whiny kid Trunks, a whiny kid Goten, and a bitch ass Gohan. I mean Ultimate Gohan is supposedly the strongest unfused character in the universe but still doesn't do crap

@Mikito456 Lets face it, Akira wanted everybody to think about Gohan basically, to make the series turn about him, but Mirei Trunks had completely upstaged everyone in popularity. As such, to impress Gohan on us, he made Kid Trunks an annoying whiny bitch. However, that failed, now nobody liked Gohan or Trunks, as such Akira was forced to return attention to Goku above all else, efficiently killing the idea of the children inheriting the title of Protector of Earth.
