  • I stopped listening at..... "It aint gonna f@#king run right... you need an AK" I assure you my friend that the M4 platform is a sufficent survival rifle. Everybody fails to understand that 80% or more of issues with the M4 DI system was bad old worn out military magazines... use Pmags= just as reliable as any piston system. Do the research people!!! dont just go by what people say!

  • @grapplingtech77 you should've kept listening instead of closing your mind up the way you did. (from real life experence) The AR is more reliable than the AK if maintained. I was refering to the AK fanboys "reliability queens" like cokeman2423 and TMHonfire102 that buy an AR just to retrofit a piston and roller cam pins and all that other bullshit and believe that soon we're all going to be living like mad max for decades. Personally I believe the AK to be big ole pile of shit. But whatever man.

  • lmao RiflemanChannel! @Duckdodgers being nutnfancy! lol!

  • dude, you have a lot of valid points. idk why there are so many thumbs down? maybe your hick accent

  • The M4/M16's only real flaw is the 5.56 round, and that was mainly caused by the pidly little 55g bullet. With current 1:7" twist M4s, you can use any bullet weight you want up to 90g (although they don't fit in the magazine, so 80g would be best). There is nothing wrong with the DGI system. It's been in the rifle since it's creation, and the system has worked ever since. "Don't try to fix that which isn't broken."

  • @TheRiflemanChannel I'm with ya. The AR-15 is more like a piece of art. The AK is a bunch of junk thrown together. They were originally designed for quantity over quality so if your AK broke, you could toss it and pick up the next one. The fact that they have so much play between the parts just makes them feel so shoddy. I'll take an AR any day. When maintained, ARs are incredibly reliable.

  • @esh325 hey thanks for considering the flip side. you're right though, u could prob. put 20,000 rds. thru baby glock without failure. they all run like a sumbitch

  • @vanderleibf3 DI has been on the AR platform since its invention. that means there are millions of DI bolt carriers, gas tubes ect on the market. the piston system on the AR has only been around for what 4 years maybe 5? each company has their own design of carriers and rods ect. that means machine work to either a DI carrier or a complete ground up redesign of the carrier. its still new so companies are still trying to recoup R&D at the same time. by the way "more better" are you serious?

  • @arfreak1979 I have a baby Glock 26 and I never had trouble with it. I haven't shot the hell out of it though. Perhaps under certain instances, it is less reliable then the Glock 17, so you could be right.

  • @esh325 what i mean by that is the glock 17 was wholly designed to function using the 9x19 cartridge and the geometry Mr. Glock came up with for it. the other glocks are not "original" designs. i.e., the other calibers and the shortened versions (baby glocks). much like an officer's model 1911 (3" barrel) will NEVER perform with the same reliability as the gov't model. the commander and officer versions of the 1911 are not original designs. they are "jerry rigged" versions.

  • @arfreak1979 That's not right at all. Gaston Glock designed "all the other Glock models" How is it jerry rigged? I'm not sold either on the op rod AR15's.

  • ok so i've read a pile of comments about this video. it makes me think of riflefuk's 1911 video about the glock 17. he says it is the finest glock ever made i.e, an original design. all other glock models are a "jerry rigged version" of the G17. same thing with the ar. DI was it's original design. Mr. Stoner wasn't kicking the shit back in '59 going "you know my DI idea is cool and all, but hopefully someone someday will stick an op rod on this fucker. piston ar people r gay...
