@Leksakshund The voice actor for Starscream was really into drugs, so Hasbro thought, "Instead of bailing off the creep, why don't we kill his character? that way, we can TRULY invest!" So they did,sort of similar to what 2 N a half men to Charlie Sheen,

@TheRavenisNight He's Megatron reformatted into a new body, with a slightly more malevolent personality. I think it's funny, though: Megatron put up with Starscream's treachery for *literally* millions of years, then all of a sudden he executes him for it. So, really, Starscream probably thinks that this ISN'T Megatron. :)

TF G1 is just not the same without Starscream (not to mention Optimus Prime). He had the most plucky personality of all of them and I really liked how he and Megatron always got into arguments. Urgh, damn you, Hasbro... damn you.
