I find this to be one of the saddest video clips ever. The older brother being so sad to see his little brother turned into a tree and the little brother not knowing any better just lets it happen. plus this many trees would surely cause massive ecological complications. This is my interpretation of this video anyway. I had nightmares after watching this for the first time.

I disapprove the opinion that the boognish are evil... a hint towards this would be the fact that they are dancing for the baby to keep it happy and laughing.
No, the video (which, in this case, manages to capture the meaning of the lyrics) is a celebration of the cycle of life, from my point of view.
