O Scale Layout : I Like Trains

Hey Gang, This is just a run of my MTH Premier CSX ES44DC with a short local after having repaired the Beast. A few weeks ago the diesel developed a problem and would only move about 6 inches in either direction before Amping out the transformer. After tearing into it, I discovered the problem was in the front truck. Something had gotten between 2 teeth of one of the idler gears. A little magic of the Doctor and she's running as smooth as ever again. The local consists of a few older cars & a few new ones too. I also started playng with some weathering powders a bit. Dan, the Beast is fine lookin' engine and runs well. It looks BIG, makes my Marx CPs look like midgets :-) - Ed

@marxtoynut The Beast makes anything but scale cars look tiny Ed.. And it really is a smooth runner... Even down to 2 or 3 mph... It can really crawl.. Glad you enjoyed this clip my friend !!!

@skee55 Hey Tony, Really good to hear from you man... Yes, it was a real bummer and a little panic issue when the Beast stopped running... But I solved that pretty quick and she's shining the tops of the rails again in all her glory.. lol... Thanks for the very kind comment on the clip my friend. As far as the Clan, well, they went their seperate ways after the reunion, so you wont likely see anything in that context, but good Ol' Jerm may make an apperance here and there, ya never know...
