The bottle, with only a small amount of water, is put into a bucket of hot water. There is a straw, nearly touching the bottom of the inside of the bottle and sealed round the top with plastersine. At the top of the straw is a blob of plastersine with a tiny hole (pin size). When the air in the bottle heats up it pushes down on the water and forces it up the straw and out of the tiny hole creating a fountain.
