Very rare footage of twin twisters that touched down in Oklahoma almost 46 years ago.

Again, the quality of the footage isn't the best, but the original recording (meaning when it was actually filmed), which was extremely grainy and shaky, coupled with being on a VHS tape that's over a decade old had a hand in that, LOL

  • No, Corn had two. The bit of video footage shows only one, usually. But I have a still photo of it and I'm replacing my current Corn vid with a new, longer one soon...I'll put the still photo in it so you can see. The cool thing is, in the Corn storm one twister is cyclonic, the other is anticyclonic.

  • @ilovetogofast88 no, multiple vortices are tornadoes within a tornado. this is just a satellite tornado

  • Awesome Video

  • Holy crap, multiple vortices

  • Penis clouds can be dangerous !

  • you are correct..the Corn, OK tornado(es) were the first ever filmed,in 1951, followed by the Warner-Robins, GA tornado in 1953

  • If I recall correctly, the fact that Corn had two tornadoes - and that one was anticyclonic - was detailed in one of the TVCs. I'd love to verify this, but the DVDs I paid Tornado Project $70 for were never watchable (low-quality DVDRs), so I'm going by memory of my viewings of VHS tapes.

  • This isn't a video, it's old home-made movie film.

  • in the video i assume this is from, the narrator explains that this is a phenomenon called a satelite vorticy. a smaller, weaker tornado that revolves around the parent tornado. and Corn Oklahoma had only one large tornado in it not 2.

  • I was almost certain that the Corn, OK tornado was the first one ever filmed period. But I may be wrong.
