comet holmes size comparison

two sets of images, both at the same scale, of comet holmes. one set (the smaller one) was taken on 3 november, and the larger one was taken on 10 november. both were with a canon s3 is camera at iso 800 and optical zoom 12x and 5 second exposures.

i wish i could have taken them under the same background light conditions, but that would have required a blackout in los angeles (or driving back up the coast again).
