I compare Cohen's lyrics to some of the posts here, and I am astounded by the chasm between thought the processes. @Gonzarnr democracy is NOT a minority forcing a majority to do anything.. a democracy is a majority vote... the majority rules the vote... just because the majority are so stupid that a small group can manipulate them into doing their will, doesnt make demacracy anything besides the rule of a majority.. think of it like this, a democracy is a frankenstein monster, mindlessly being controlled by a mad scientist.. when any of us try to stand up to it, it is the monster that attacks us

@Gonzarnr i know that the majority are manipulated.. they are stupid, ignorant fools that allow their freedom (and ours, through their great democracy) to be thrown away, and are EASILY manipulated and steered around... i dont want these fools forcing their errors on me.. i dont want them doing anything in my name.. i dont want them appointing representatives, leaders, rules... nothing.. they are a bunch of blind fools that have voted their way to slavery

@longfootbuddy Not at all mate. Democracy is the tyranny of the minority forcing the majority to do anything they please, but (here's the trick) making them believe they've got a choice. And boy ! they always make awful choices.

So if I could, I wouldn't vote. I don't care for that. They don't need me to do what they want. I sure hell don't need them. What we need is to change our ways, start focusing on the humane point of view. We've all got much more in common than they let us think.

I've read a couple of comments here and it really saddens me. You know ? I think most people are quite used to MTV stuff. I don't really care for that.

I think, people are trying to wake up, but they don't seem to know how. We've been asleep for far too long now. We don't even know how to think, we lack the skeptic tools to archieve a consciousness that would allow us to evolve as human beings

But we'll try, it's all we can do
