♥ Please help me celebrate Rodney's life, he died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 3rd. Thank you!

Rodney was born in New Orleans, LA and spent his youth in Slidell, Louisiana where he attended Slidell High School and graduated from the Slidell Vocational/Technical School. He was employed as a Certified Automotive Technician at Bill Garrett Nissan for many years. In recent years he pursued a new career, becoming a truck driver. He has worked for McElroy Truck Lines, Anderson News and his final employer was Gulfstream Express in Gulfport, MS.

He was the husband of Denise Davis Rednour, the brother of Robert T. Rednour of Slidell, LA, Raymond (Paula) Rednour of River Ridge, LA and the late William "Billy" Rednour, the son of the late Mr. William and Elise Egan Rednour and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

Rodney was a friend of mine for many years and I would like to express my feelings. What moves through me is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, and one more word. We may not understand why you left this earth so soon Rodney; why you left before we were ready to say good-bye. Little by little, we begin to remember not just that you have left us, but that you lived. And that your life gave many memories too beautiful to forget.

My thoughts and prayers are with he and Denise's families.

Love Always,
LouisianaLeroux

  • I'm sorry for your loss, LouisianaLeroux. I am missing my big strong Daddy, especially today - no little girl should be without her Daddy on Father's Day. Especially when you had a Daddy as wonderful as mine was. :( I can tell he left an indelible impression on your heart, through this moving, beautiful tribute in his memory. God bless you and his family. 5/5 stars.

  • Thank you! Yes Rodney was a special friend. I have lost my Dad to, so I understand your feelings. I can't find a song yet, to make a tribute to my Dad. He was a man among men and I was blessed to be his daughter. I have a memorial sub-domain on my site to both he and my mother. Take care and God bless you too.

  • I miss you Rodney, it still seems so unreal. You will never be forgotten; whenever I am missing you I can come here and see your picture. You are my special angel now.

    Love,

    LouisianaLeroux

  • Thank you so much for this tribute to my love, my life, my Rodney. I don't believe he's gone and I will never feel his touch, see his smile, or look into those beautiful blue eyes of blue. I miss him so very much and my world is empty without him to share each God given day with.

I don't know how to thank you for such a special gift except to say "I love you my friend" and I so appreciate this.

  • excellent

  • You've had a lot of losses in your life - please accept my condolences. :( How do you add songs? What movie editing program do you use? (Computer illiterate, be gentle. LOL) I love your pages, LouisianaLeroux. =] Thanks for being a friend!
