http://www.myspace.com/blackjackblues1 John Lewis, lead guitarist, vocals, has played blues for a living his entire life, recently finishing a 14 year stint with Cincinnati Blues legend Sonny Hill, who toured with blues notables Gatemouth Brown and Jimmy Witherspoon.� Sonny Hill and the Nightshift were chosen to represent Cincinnati in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in 1999, 2000, and named Best Blues/R&B band in 1999 by City Beat magazine.� John's high energy playing won him a nomination for the Cincinnati Enquirer's Cammy Award for Best Blues Instrumentalist that same year. �John has had the honor of opening up for or sitting in with blues legends Otis Rush, Ronnie Baker Brooks, Luther Allison, Kenny Neal, Phil Guy and Coco Montoya.�
