Mounds 7 19 09 2009

Playing in the "pond" in the scramble area at the Mounds ORV Park...this actually resulted in having to get the starter replaced 2 days later from shorting it out.

not a bad idea sm32586, this was almost 2 years ago now and the dealer covered it under warranty and Ford roadside assistance paid the towing bill.

It ate my starter and the rear brake pads from the stones and pebbles grinding between the rotors and pads

lost my altenator in a hole like that... but with my luck it was super slick with trenches already in it so it was even deeper then that :x

your starters failed do the the solenoid getting fucked up, personally i run a bronco solenoid with my 71 lincoln 460bbf due just to the fact u fuck that solenoid up and your starters toast, i have 50 dollar starters and 10 dollar solenoids, or a 200+starter for a newer truck? which one yall wanna pay for?

That hole eats starters and alternators because of the sand in it..

i thought about goin thru that one back in august, but when i walked out there to check it and it almost went up to my hip i made the wise decision not to haha
