  • krs one is weeeird man

  • @BizzTheFunk no black cop and outta here in my opinion

  • This, and Sound of Da police best tracks off Return of the Boom Bap

  • sick interview too, hes a smart guy--KRS IS THE GREATEST BDP BDP

  • Today pl have forgot what hiphop realy means and only think its rap music! Thats sad becuse now pl think hey are hiphopa when they are spitting and acts like kanye west etc.

  • outta here is too good! straight up!

  • That's right. 99.9% of rappers are not inconsistent, because they don't really speak their mind- they ACT, they play a role. The same old role over and over, consistently. Real people are not always consistent. Real people get horny one moment, philosophical the next, and angry the next. What matters is KRS decided to inject some intelligence in the mix.

  • Im glad i got the privelage to grow up with KRS's and BDP's music , thanks to them i am the intelligent and awareful man i am today

  • People can criticize KRS One all they want, but nobody can deny the man's impact and active role within the community.

He may have been guilty of being inconsistent with some of his views, but haven't all of us? Nobody will think EXACTLY the way he/she did 15-20 years ago. To his credit, KRS HAS been consistent in his belief that there should be more balance in hip hop, and not just "all soulja boy," or "all KRS One."

Lorna, you look sexy as hell to me.

  • KRS-One is always interesting with his comments. The aspect that I have appreciated the most is that he's not only an MC: he's an ACTIVIST.

He took hip hop beyond a musical realm, and applied it through educational, political, and humanitarian endeavors.

If there was no KRS-One, then what artists today would have the vision to initiate a "Stop the Violence" movement? Hip Hop appreciation week? H.E.A.L? Etc.
