George Carlin, one of the most beloved comedians of the past 50 years, often used religion as a source of comedy based on his rational thinking. He would have loved the book "Did Man Create God?"

  • First, I know Christ and never have doubts. That is because it is a personal friendship. Atheism claims to be intellectual, but ignores real science: Order and design are never observed coming from chaos, life only comes from life, Cambrian layer shows no evolution, Paleontology= imagination. Which came first: chicken/egg, heart or lungs, DNA or RNA? It takes a protein to make a protein. Atheists have great imagination and create "stories" to explain, but Jesus Christ is Lord - of science too!

  • You are just the person who should read this book. It clearly answers each of you statements. Ex. The Cambrian was a period of intense and wonderous evolution. Science can explain the origin of life. No lchicken/or egg problem. Protein and nucleic acids evolved together. Science is not anti-Jesus as far as his basic teaching are concerned.

  • Can I find this book on ebay?

  • Best possible place is Amazon. Current price for softback is @ $17. Also available in Barnes & Noble bookstore. Enjoy a great feast.

  • Question,

    What does Jesus Christ.

Which is 100% religion and faith.

have ANYTHING to do with science ?

  • Read "The Jesus Family Tomb" by Jacobovici and Pellegrino and you will see a wonderful melding of science and Christianity. Read the book "Did Man Create God" and you will see how important science is to having a beleif system that is compatible with reason.

  • If you equate religion and spirituality you may have a point. However, if you read the book you will see they are different entities. I define spirituality as a feeling of being connected to something greater than oneself. This can be nature, the universe, family, friends, community, or a supernatural being. Spiritual traits are strongly genetic and probably selected for in evolution because they strengthen social interactions. In a hostile world this could have strong survival value.

  • good theory :D

  • whuts up?

  • I think your right.

  • Did you ever think that your special relationship could be your own mind?

  • I think the universe is a single conciousness that has the ability to shut down and reboot forever. But we would be a part of it, so there's no god. Hi everyone!
