I love Aikido. I think it's a fascinating science that can be great for self defense. However I am upset that there are not very many real randori videos on YouTube or clips of it being used in combat. It's videos like this that advertise the art but make it look bad because it's choreographed.

yea thats it show women they can stand and fight!, i teach my wife and daughters to run an scream like hell if anyone approaches like that, they also know how to strike the right way and then run,any woman who stands and fights a man in that situation will be mugged at the very least! no 2 ways round it to run gives any one the chance to be safer than trying to fight and yes there are the keyboard hard men there who can sort the world out and will probably give me grief but hey i wont reply :)
