I think we have the same situation now, we have more parties than any country in the world and our population is just under one million. We are still looking for fame not for service of our people.

If anybody knows about your grandfather, then sh/s is dead by now. Did your grandfather created a country for us, did he defend against who sent our people into Exodus, everybody say his grandfather was commander. So how many commanders we had. That how our nation is dying, because we are all commanders, we are not servent. What did Jesus say?

I'm sorry, but I wish I know everything. I'm sure many here can help you about that.

My grandmother and her family were in the Exodus (from Geotapa) Urmia. I am trying to find out as much as I can about what life was like for the exiled Assyrians in the camp at Hamadan. Grateful for any help.

@MarschallNullpunkt The survivors went to a refugee camp in Baqubah Iraq and from there all over the world. 80,000 started a 1000 kilometer trek and in the end 38,000 survived.

@MarschallNullpunkt It was near the end of WWI the Assyrians have been fighting the Turks waiting to be resupplied but help din't arrive and the Turkish army broke through and a large massacre followed, the survivors fled the city.
