First rockfishing trip of 2008. Easy limits of rockfish, including 3 big cabezons, chinas, black and yellows, blues, blacks, greenlings, and gophers. Many shaker lingcods, with only one keeper. All lures seemed to work today.

  • @zammystavez It's California, just south of San Francisco.

  • What tackle do you guys use for this?

P.S. Bay tackle is the best tackle store EVER :)

  • @fawfulfulfury97 We use mostly 2-4 oz jigs, like Megabait, Pline, etc. But ... find the fish, and just about anything works...

  • Yo where can you get megbait jig at?

  • The Fisherman's Warehouse, Outdoor Pro Shop and Bay Tackle all carry them. Hi's Tackle should have it too.

  • 99 fish + rockfish = $

  • @theotherguy621 It's a cabezon.

  • Small cap but any cap is nice, i once caught a 12 pound Cap off the rocks. Beautiful fish, especially coppers.

  • I was there at the rocky pathway last week and there's not fish. I used those fake worms what a waste of time and money.
