This is a rather rare little gem from the PS1 era, and is one of my favorite games ever. It's nearly impossible to track down a legitimate copy of this game anymore.

I rank this up there in quality and charm with NiGHTS, although Klonoa actually got several sequels. While I haven't played much of Klonoa 2 for the PS2, I can say that, unfortunately, the Gameboy Advance Klonoa games retain little of the charm and imagination shown in the first Klonoa game.

I should've made this video longer; even the demo let you reach the first boss.

  • Is this game as fun as it looks? I downloaded it converted to psp format but wondering if it's worth the space.

  • @necromaster212121 I really like it.

  • Isn't this an RPG game?

  • @DYLANDISASTERbz No. Not even close. It's a platformer. There was a sort of action RPG on the GBA, but it was kind of boring as I recall.

  • The level design is brilliant! You don't see many 2.5D games really taking advantage of that extra half-a-dimension like Klonoa does. I find it amazing that so much depth of movement can be achieved with a character that can only walk left and right.

  • The Wii version is essentially a remake if it's too difficult to track down a copy of the original.

  • This game can be purchased on the PSN now. :) Playable on the PS3 and PSP.

  • A lot like Kirby meets A Boy And His Blob from NES.

  • ITS ON PSN!!!! WHOO!

  • I still have this :)

  • This was one of my favorite games growing up and should be considered a classic.

  • i love and i miss this game!!! is it available in psp?

  • Oh, how I loved this game! <3 So cute and really sweet design. I also loved the cute music. I still have this for PS1 and the second one for PS2

  • this game was fun as hell
