  • i have Osgood Schlatters Disease for almost 6 years now and i am 14. They say i will grow out of it but it hasn't gotten any better. On top of that I had a hip injury which made both me knees act up because of the compensation. I took physical therapy... it helped but the the pain is still there...am i healed..is it Osgood schlatters. On top of all that i have tendinitis and some other foot problems and low arches... when you put it all together I am a mess haha I was wondering if you could help

  • @sillystringroxz

thanks for the message. it will be best to see a therapist in person as a more global assesment will be required. Any of the basic strengthening exercises in the perfect point book will help however.

  • Doubt that it is actually this and that you should see a doctor or physio. I wear a pair of open patella knee supports whenever I do sports as this means it takes some of the pressure off the knees. They look silly but I would recommend to anyone with this condition to invest in one or a pair. I sometimes find that on cold days they are a bit stiff. U have found that for ke icing does not help it when it is sore but just taking a break for 10 minutes or so and massaging them can help a great dea

  • I have this condition, I am 13 and my doctor has told me that by the age of 16 it will stop as I will have stopped growing. Those of you who are saying you have this aged 36 etc. I

  • @shogunMR I think the only way to battle this 'disease' is to be an overpaid athlete. As long as you're like me (An average Joe, with no insurance), then no one gives a shit.
