@lakersfool would this muffler sound the same on a 3.8 L? cause i have thought about putting just the mufflers on my 04 ss Monte Carlo..

@YankeesFan8691 not the new ones 2006 and up models have a 3.5 and 3.9 the ss impala has a 5.3 v8... the 3.8 is the supercharged one

Exhaust has nothing to do with insurance on exhaust systems in California. But insurnace is about $1100 a year for a 50 year old with a good driving record.
