Ah, never mind... no need to answer that, I checked their website:

"International availability

We are beginning to look into other markets, though at the time we can't officially support banks, cards or merchants outside of the 50 United States and DC. There is no specific timeline for international availability, but we'll be sure to announce any international expansion, including availability in US territories such as Puerto Rico and Guam."

Cool, I hope they start doing business in the U.K!!

@loupremo During the transaction process, Square has an option to send your customer a mobile receipt (text message) to their phone or email them a receipt instantly.

Its only U.S and we need that in Europe

@tilben227 Square doesn't actually do any underwriting, nor do they have any phone support. If there is any suspected fraud, their recourse is to hold a business' funds until the fraud is cleared up. In the mean time, that business will not get paid receive funds for transactions that go through during that period of time. Getting a "real" merchant account is generally more expensive but helps with those issues - squarealternative dotcom is as close as we've found to that. Have you seen it?

Does this work overseas? Or is it imperative that you use the Square within the U.S.?
