LEGO Hexapod

The second version of my hexapod 'bot. There's a little more quality on this video, but I still can't seem to make a decent one... Oh well.

The batteries on the bot were almost drained when I took this vid. It usually goes faster.

@ourhouse55 It's just a few gears and levers, no need for Mindstorms. Any motor will do, the new Power Function ones are pretty lovely, I'd have used them if I had them when I made this hexapod.

It can't turn, but it definitely could be made to turn. Just add a twistable segment between each pair of legs!

Keep in mind that the batteries were almost drained when I made this video =p But still, yeah, its speed can be improved a lot. For example: even though it looks nice, bouncing up and down while taking every step wastes a lot of momentum.

u should get a stronger motor
