  • @smackdownvsraw123 Extremist parties do win seats under FPTP, the BNP won a council one in Burnley with only 19.9% of the vote. Do you think that reflects public opinion? Do you think the other 80.1% wouldn't have preferred anyone but the BNP to win that seat?

That's not the only seat they've won of course, they held 55 councillor seats at one point - because FPTP doesn't require majority support, you can win with a fraction of the vote. AV requires 50% support over all other parties to win

Canada uses FPTP, and has coalition governments... Australia has had only 3 coalition governments in the past 100 years using AV.

Extremist parties will find it harder to win seats as they need the support at least 50% on the constituents votes, that's why the BNP supports FPTP.

  • go FPTP

  • noooo

fptp is easy and straight forward thus it is clear who has won straight away it provides a strong stable government with 1 party forming govt coalitions are rare plus the system reflets public opinion if a party is not liked the would lose thus the govt is held to account futhermore constituency representation which is very important finnaly extremist small parties don't win seats

  • We must not be deceived, Masonic Nefarian Masons !! (Anti-Christ / Anti-Life) !!....Do a quick search on the and see how deep this rabbit hole goes..Ps All Parties are in the pocket of the Elite Banksters
