NASA moon bombing violates space law & may cause conflict with lunar ET/UFO civilizations (Examiner.com) Commentary: The planned October 9, 2009 bombing of the moon by a NASA orbiter that will bomb the moon with a 2-ton kinetic weapon to create a 5 mile wide deep crater as an alleged water-seeking and lunar colonization experiment, is contrary to space law prohibiting environmental modification of celestial bodies. The NASA moon bombing, a component of the LCROSS mission, may also trigger conflict with known extraterrestrial civilizations on the moon as reported on the moon in witnessed statements by U.S. astronauts Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong, and in witnessed statements to NSA (National Security Agency) photos and documents regarding an extraterrestrial base on the dark side of the moon.
The bombing of the moon is a weapons system test.
Have you ever heard of "Rods from God" well its a bomb without being a bomb that packs the same punch as a nuke, without the radioactive fallout. Basically its a large metallic rod that falls to earth (or the moon in this case) from space and using kinetic energy becomes almost like a "smart" asteroid that could wipe out an entire city. Think about it... they expect this 2 ton metal hunk to cause a 5 mile wide crater on the moon, and the moon has only a fraction of the gravitational pull of the earth. This weapons test could not be conducted on earth without raising red flags... so under the guise of NASA they concocted this story of trying to find water on the moon, despite the fact that India has already done so without needing to blow it up.
With this weapon the USA can destroy any city on earth without leaving any traces of evidence of who is responsible for the attack and without causing nuclear fallout to affect the surrounding area/nations.

How do you know the content of the treaty? Perhaps we were simply told to not colonize the moon (yet) or some other condition?

I tend to think that they are just containing us from spreading to other planets & star systems until we evolve for a while longer. Humans are still extrememly primitive - our technology is probably 1000 years ahead of the rest of our development. We are only highly-communicative baboons with AK47s & heavy machinery.

@barbarotico There was a international treaty that involved prohibition of space nuclear tests; I don't know if it still rules. Signed by human governments and on the Earth of course.
