CD: ''The Art of Flying'' Sitar Voice and Piano
by Christian Tatonetti

Please don't leave me
We must forget.
Anything can be forgotten,
Which is already fleeing.
To forget the times
Of our misunderstandings,
And the time we lost,
Trying to know how
To forget all those hours,
Which sometimes have killed
With damaging and pounding ''why's''
The heart of our loving bliss

Please don't leave me (4 times)

I shall offer you
Many pearls of rain,
That came from countries,
where rain never falls.
I will dig the ground
Until long after my death,
To cover your body
With gold and light.
I will build a kingdom,
Where love will be king
Where love will rule.
Where you shall be queen.

Please don't leave me (4 times)

Please don't leave me,
I will invent for you
Words without sense,
Whose meaning you will grasp.
I will speak to you
Of these two lovers,
Who have seen twice, their hearts
burst with love's fire.
I will tell you
The tale of a king,
Who died from never
being able to meet you.

Please don't leave me. (4 times)

We have seen on many occasions
Erupt with a new life, the fire
Of an ancient volcano,
That was believed too old.
Apparently, there are
Some burnt lands
Giving more wheat,
Than a best April.
And when comes the evening,
For a sky to dance like a flame,
The red and the black
Shall never become the same.

Please don't leave me (4 times)

Please don't leave me.
I will not cry anymore.
I will not say anything.
I will just hide near you.
To look at you,
Dance and smile.
And to listen to you
sing and laugh.
Let me become
Your shadow's shadow.
The shadow of your hand.
The shadow of your dog... (L'ombre de ton chien)

Please don't leave me (4 times)

  • very bad cover of a beautiful Jacques Brel song and I don't understand why some of the audience is clapping at the end.

  • @plll666 I don't understand why you spent time making a video using Annette Graffe's music and photoshopped her face and added barking dogs in the background. Why don't you focus on the things you like?

    Were you always a bully?

  • @freezinghand A bully ? Yes , probably , thanks for the compliment. And I liked making a videoclip of this woman (took me just 20 minutes) because she couldn't stand my comment on her singing and gave a comment back ( I hurted her feelings I supose ) I couldn't comment back because she had blocked me. Why ?

Because she can't take critiism ? Criticism that isn't nice ? Critcism that is in a hard way just ?

Her weakness made me make this clip !

  • @plll666 I don't think it's quite right but thanks for the explanation. Have a great day!

Merci mille fois.

  • Fantastique. It's the only word i can use for this cover...

  • @plll666 he sing very good for me ne me quitte pas si si do si si :)

  • Big Song - well done!

  • @freezinghand The only one who can performe "ne me quitte pas" in a way that every nerv and muscle in your body is tense from emotion is Brel itself...but he's gone..only his voice carries on.

  • @freezinghand I'm hearing many bad covers of this beautiful Jacques Brel song , covers without any respect for the words. People make these kind of covers because they think they can sing , but it's a shame that they performe a song like this in a very bad way. Not pronouncing the words right etc.It makes me sad and also angry.

It's not all "wow , amazing"

And if they can't stand ugly criticism then they are arrogant and stupid.

I must say that your performing wasn't that bad.
