Vmware is faster, however virtualbox is much simpler and more known to working.
If using virtualbox, if you see no harddrive, go to disk utility in OSX installation menu and erase the disk,
To check if your computer has hardware virtualisation run SecurAble. http://www.grc.com/securable.htm
Google the distribution of OS X I used. click on download. extract the 10.6.6i file and open the file in notepad.
then use the links to download the 9 individual parts of OSX.
After that use winrar or izarc http://www.izarc.org/download.html and open the first .rar. Extract the .iso file
Download and install either Vmware Player http://www.vmware.com/products/player/, cmware workstation or Oracle VM VirtualBox http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
If using vmware download either http://www.zshare.net/download/704482... or http://rapidshare.com/#!download|315tg2|328900565|Snowy_Vmware_files.zip
Run the file and follow onscreen instructions.
If it reboots and doesnt find anything, boot the snowy_vm.iso file and press h to force harddrive boot
