In this tour we drive down the hill towards Grand Avenue passing the Library and the South San Francisco City hall. Further down is the South San Francisco downtown area, but on this video you will see the store "La Tapatia" right across from the City Hall. This is one of our favorites for authentic Mexican food. You dont need to go to Mexico to enjoy real Mexican food.

@englishjames007 if you drank at Toppers then you probably did Grand Central (used to be Detes) too. How bout Welties or Five Brothers. Do you remember Johnnys Club or States Tavern down by Airport Blvd? That was a very long time ago...

The grass at city hall used to go all the way down to that sidewalk, as a kid I remember that whole lawn covered with snow, the fountain was frozen with icelces hanging off. The original police station was right next door to city hall.
