Ramblin', gamblin', jail, and lost love. If that's not country and blues, then I guess I need to be re-educated. Gene got this one right with a weeping guitar, aching voice, and lonesome yodeling. I, however, tried my best, but am no Gene Autry. That didn't stop me from having fun with it, though. Hope you enjoy!

very nice. Gene was always too sweet a guy to make me really believe his Jimmie type ramblin' songs

@redtony58 I know what you mean. He had a very clean image, especially when his career took off in the latter part of the thirties and beyond. He actually did a song called "Do Right Daddy" that he wrote back in his early days that is probably a little more in line with his more well-known, clean-cut image.
