If you've ever read President Obama's "Dreams from My Father", good for you. I couldn't get past the foreword.

I wish I had. Because today I discovered that there's a fairly juicy little subplot in the book, involving one of Obama's high school friends.

Ray, a fellow classmate of Obamas, was also bi-racial, and also trying to define himself. But what set him apart was his colorful manner of self-expression. Ray cursed like a motherfucker.

This would all be snickerworthy enough, but it turns out that Obama actually read the audiobook version of Dreams For My Father.

And that means he read Rays quotes.

And that means you're about to hear the President of United States using language that would finish Cheney off once and for all.

And, even though this is HILARIOUS, the book is a serious one. Like, when he says "There are White people... and then there are ignorant motherfuckers like you." That from the part where his basketball coach calls a team that beats them "a buncha niggers" with Barack standing right there. And the coach tries to explain himself like "oh.. there are Black people.. and then there are niggers." It's a powerful point in the book... but HILARIOUS to hear him say in his dialect. Lol.

@thehumanshin Yeah, I also agree that "they" are not very likely to allow Ron Paul become President. I do still try and wake people up to his principals and what type of person he is, it is usually like talking to an old shoe. People's eyes just sort of glaze over and then they almost always change the subject to "American Idol" or who got voted off of "Dancing With The Stars". It is sad and frustrating all in the same breath. I will still try though, and just smile and say, I don't own a TV!
