  • In the words of Patty Donahue when asked "wanna start a Band"

Her reply - "Sure there isn't anything on T.V anyways

  • For some reason ,for me anyway, the 1982-1983 tv season was the last really great time for All 3 networks.Square Pegs was one of those reasons.

  • The clothes that the blonde guy is wearing - I am seeing quite a lot of people dressing this way these days.

  • This is from back before Sarah Jessica Parker turned into a man.

  • Will somebody PLEASE post the full song!

  • A show centered on social networking...the old fashioned way.

"I'd like it if they liked us but i don't think they like us"- an '80s prophecy for Facebook? - Perhaps not. Nevertheless - the band (The Waitresses), were musically and artistically ahead of their time. Fun clip. Thanks for posting this!

  • "Always never quite right" - awesome lyrics, awesome vocals! The '80s aren't my favorite decade for nothing.

  • Thanks for all the You Tube postings re Square Peges. I absolutely loved this show as a young teen and was devestated when it was cancelled. The 80's were so much fun.

  • i´m not kidding - some of these outfits are so in these days.

  • Interesting that Tracy Wormworth is playing bass for the Waitresses here, because she was not playing on the version of the song included on the LP "Wasn't Tomorrow Wonderful?" That was David Hofstra.

I thought Wormworth was the greatest female rock bassist in the world based on "Wonderful." Then I read an interview with her in which she informed the interviewer that she hadn't played on it. She may very well still be the best, but I don't have any evidence.

  • That's Sarah Jessica Parker! I loved this show.

  • The show about high school I watched while I was still going to high school!
