  • @ yamanmustafa ...I ponder often about what "meaning" is. I think that it is connection. connection we draw between ideas. and what we feel when there is connection between people

  • Thank you for making that comment! In working with kid's, I've learned more and more about the power of synesthetic perceptions. I remember playing a game with a little boy and saying, "the answer to this question is a color, not a number".....when I heard myself say that, I realized how wrong I was. The answer was a color, a number, and probably so many other things that others might forget to notice.

  • they are scared of new people, new place and loud sound. but they are intellegent.

  • 0:45 - what's "meanning"

  • Kids, not kid's.

  • You know what Adam? I love numbers too! I used to make imaginary characters out of them, based on my synesthetic perceptions of each. To clarify, synesthesia is the trait that causes two or more unrelated senses to be released at the same time. For me, I associate numbers with color schemes and personalities.

  • I'm autistic and did gymnastics when I was in school. It helped to increase my motor functioning skills. It also became one of my obsessions.

  • This is great :) My daughter is currently receiving accomodations/interventions in the classroom typical of the autism spectrum, but no dx yet. She LOVED gymnastics as a toddler-preschooler. Then the age group suddenly shared the gym with all the older kids & the instructors were totally inept. Merely screamed at her & rolled their eyes at her :( Now she's in ballet with a wonderful teacher who studies educational psychology *whew* It absolutely helps! =)

  • Awesome. I have autism. I did gymnastics from ages two to ten. I think it has done good things for me.
