i have a singer simple and even when i set the stich to zig zag it still looks st8 help

@tiffanytheface1 Could it be because the width is set to "very narrow". By looking at a picture of the Singer Simple, I think you can set the width with the dials on top of the machine (right dial - left is for tension). I recommend checking out the troubleshooting section of your owner's manual.

When you do the zig zag, are you actually going off the fabric or just on the edge of it?

@lafenetreouverte Le "bourrelet" est causé par trop de tension au fil de la bobine (en-dessous). En diminuant la tension, vous aurez une couture plate. Aussi, plus votre tissu est mince, plus il sera sujet à faire un petit "bourrelet".

Bonjour! J'ai une question à propos de l'aiguille double pour le tricot (je n'ai pas de machine coverstitch) : est-ce normal que cette méthode produise un petit «bourrelet» entre les deux coutures? Je trouve ça gâche tout! J'utilise une aiguille double Schmetz stretch twin 4,0/75. Quel est le problème? Merci :)
