A play I was in on Friday, May 4th.

The entrance was not taped. We all come in counting to sixty. And then the lines go:
60
tada
so this guy at the funeral
guy is too kind
this jerk
this jerk reckons I can't go 1 minute
without lighting a cigarette
hah, showed him
now, time to celebrate

And then the recording starts at:

Quite a few mistakes.
& excuse my brother's video taping skills, or lack there of.

I'm in Ensemble Acting for my Speech team and we doing this. No offense, but I don't really like how everyone is standing in one place. It makes it seem very cold and closed off. Not trying to be mean. Just my personal opinion.

Hey, I'm about to direct this play for the third year directing project. Any advice? I've decided to cut it to two girls, so just Gloria one and Gloria two, but same idea. Any help would be incredible!

This is ten and a half minutes of a lot of standing, no change in motivation or emotions or movement. This is an amazing script that you could have done so much with and yet you didn't.

You all have great stage presence and acting abilities thats for sure but overall this is badly directed.
