The first year students in landscape architecture created this installation for Open House in spring 2010, and some admitted to being inspired by Martin Rein-Cano's lecture here a couple of weeks earlier (from Topotek 1 in Berlin). So, it's a tongue-in-cheek homage! Thomas Jefferson piggy banks in pink, on a sod "lawn" atop a concrete plinth that covers a vent. Fog machine was placed in the vent under the plinth to generate fog on intervals as the fans run...
